The book and on the radio!
My colleauge on the danish MS Blog I write on has made this book. It's in danish but I'll show you the pictures anyway. The book has a short story from 18 different people all with MS. It's free on the internet and a book I wish had been available when I was first diagnosed. It's a book about real people by real people living with MS. Today I'm going be on the radio, danish radio, talking about life with MS. I've never been on the radio and am really excited... Especially excited to wear those big headphones and speaking in a mic!

ReplyDeleteThat is SO amazing...and I know that you will rock it and do a great job...how exciting. Do you have any idea if there will be a way to hear a recording of it? Even if it is in Danish, one of my closest friends here in Seattle is from Denmark, so I could always listen to it with her and have her translate.

Hi Meg, it did go really well and it was so much fun being in a radio studio:) He will send me a recording of it in a weeks time, he said. Here's the link to the book which can be read for free online. Maybe you're friend can translate it for you:)

DeleteMax and I were in radio studio last year (posted the whole hour in one of my first blogs) BUT that was a MUCH more inappropriate conversation, I am sure. The first 10 minutes were hysterical. Just wanted to send a compliment your way. I was showing Shawn (my SUPER boyfriend:) your blog last night and when he saw the photo of you in the radio studio, he exclaimed, she is just young girl! When I told him you had the kids, he wouldn't believe me....should feel pretty dang good about that - no looking like a dinosaur these days! Had a happy moment yesterday, beat my "all time high" for views in a day...it had been 147 on one of my first days ever and hit 198 by bedtime last night:) Of course, still don't really know what I am doing, but oh well:)
