When my 3 year old son sings Incy Wincy Bider to me! ( he can't say sp )

When my 5 year old daughter gets a laughing fit rolling around on the floor!


When my soulmate plays Take That to me on his guitar!

Confessions of a 3 year old and a 5 year old.....

My sister (5) and I (3) are seeking forgiveness for.......

Ignoring mummy completely at dinner time when we were told to stop messing about.
Running faster when we were told to stop running at all in the house!!!
Me screaming all the way through my bath as I wanted daddy not mummy to bath me......
Throwing Lego at my sister and then denying it!!!
My sister for cutting a bit of her friend's hair playing hairdresser.... And for putting Vicks all over her body then denying it though her eyes were red and teary from the smell which is hard to hide........

We also say sorry now for all future tantrums, selective hearing as in not hearing at all what mummy says and just general shenanigans we might have to get up too!!!

No more baby......

In the summer we tried to convince our son to stop wearing a nappy. He was 3years old on the 20th of August so thought he should be ready! He wasn't and would have none of it!!!!

A week ago we came back from nursery and  he asked to have his nappy off, for good!! We took it off having lots of clean clothes ready. Not at all needed.... No any accidents! Next day in nursery he proudly told everybody: No more nappy! He is not wearing a nappy at night either. He has had 2 accidents since and none at night. So proud of our little man!!!

So I have packed all the last baby things, nappies etc away! Strange and a bit sad to think No more baby. I also had to find some jeans I've packed away cos too small. Now they fit again around his little nappy free bottom.

While I wrote this I realized  I can change colour on the writing. So enjoy (I hope...) my rainbow blog:-) I will let you decide whether it's fun, nice or annoying to read a rainbow coloured blog??
 

Proud parents.

My little boy can now ride a bike without stabilizers only 3 years and 1 month old. He learned after 2 minutes practice with daddy and only falls because he turns his head to make sure we are looking at him. And who cares if it's big sister's old bike in purple and pink!!!

Spiderman and Spiderman 2.

No, not the film! It's my son and his daddy I'm talking about. My son got a Spiderman costume for his birthday from his uncle. The look on his daddy's face was indescribable. Probably because he claims to be Spiderman. Why you might ask...??? I know I do but apparently it's a secret!!

Well the costume obviously had to be tried on.
And just look at the little man....
He looks so cute and does look like the real Spiderman don't you think...??? I do! I have a feeling that his daddy feels a bit threatened. But I know he also feels proud that his son carries on the Spiderman legend because as I said earlier, he claims to be the real Spiderman and has told his children he is! I have decided to completely stay out of any explanation he surely has to make in years to come!!
I guess it feels quite safe having not just one Spiderman but 2 Spidermen living in our house!

Your feet don't match your face.......

We have returned from a lovely holiday in England staying with nana and papa for 10 days. One of the first nights there this story was told.

Nana and her eldest daughter were sitting in the living room watching TV one night. Nana looks at her daughter's bare feet and says: " Your feet don't match your face...!! " and straight after adds " You have such a pretty face....!!! " Which is very true but there is no way of back tracking from the first statement...... I so love it when people speak before thinking. I guess it's because then I'm not the only one doing it!!!!
