Music Monday Christmas songs!

My absolute favourite Christmas song is this. I can't listen to it without crying. I love it (and to be honeste, I listen to it all year around) It has to be this version though. Not just because of the fantastic hairstyles!

It's done....

...it really is! All the Christmas presents are bought. Yep, all of them... You don't believe me? Well, there are benefits with being disabled and having families in 2 countries. We shop nearly all online, it's easy, stress free, no queues, it's fun and we're enjoying having time to pick just the right present for everyone. This year we're in Denmark for Christmas and the English lot's presents are all done. I know, they're not wrapped in fine Christmas wrapping paper but there is a name on every present, and a brown soft envulope is just what you call "unique" wrapping! Actually the Danish lot's presents are done too and as we're here this year, they do get wrapped but not in "unique" wrapping!
This weekend the princess and the little man, with their daddy's help, have written their letters to Father Christmas. Wonder if their wishes come true....?
What do you wish for??
I wish for no snow, apart for the 23, 24, 25, 26th of December, snow and me with my stick and not too good walking is a bad combo.... Oh and an Ipad2 would be nice!
Just as a foot-note, here's what the princess said today looking at the computer about to play a game. "I can see the voice but I can't hear it talking...??" That sounded to us like "The lights are on, but no-one's home"!!!

The Liebster Award.

How very exciting- a lovely blogger called Vicky has nominated me for an award on her fabulous blog- http://mudpiesandmarmalade.blogspot.com/   Thank you Vicky.  I love the idea for this award- to celebrate relatively undiscovered, inspirational blogs. Liebster is a German word meaning dearest, and the award is given to up-and-coming bloggers with less than 200 followers.

If you receive the award you should:
1. copy and paste the award on your blog
2. thank the giver and link back to them
3. reveal your top 5 picks and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog
4. hope that your followers will spread the love to other bloggers
Here are 5 of my favourite blogs:

"All I want for Christmas is me 2 front teeth!"

Yep the second one fell out today (about time as it has been hanging in one tiny thread for a while) and the princess now looks like this.
By the way, she still got all her hair despite my concern yesterday at the Lucia party at school. All 29 children walked carefully and very proudly with their candles.
So concentrated she was that she forgot to sing (and smile) but so cute though!

Lucia party at school and real candles....

In front of the mirror, the princess is rocking with a lipgloss in her hand. She's miming the words to James Blunt "You're beautiful" which is playing loudly on her pink CD-player.

Last night this was. She's warming up to her big performace tonight at school! Her class are starting the party by walking and singing holding a candle, all dressed in white. It's called Lucia (normally done on the 13th december. Lucia means light 'lux' in Latin) It'll be very cute to see 29 six year olds doing that and very scary.... Children with real candles, walking in a line singing and "Uh... hey mummy and daddy" Ups the child in front is on fire...... No, of course that's not gonna happen. I am making 2 very tight plaits on the princess though, no need to temp faith is there?
