December, Christmas tree, Christmas Market and a hat to wear throughout the month

The little man with his Christmas hat he will be wearing all December.

It's now December. We have attended the only Christmas party at school which was held on the 1st of December. We've been to the Christmas Market in town and we have yet to watch a Christmas film.

The tween (formerly called the princess in my blog posts... tween is what she is now and princesses are so last season or something like that) is rehearsing a lot these days with her musical school. They're performing the weekend before Christmas and just 4 days before we leave for England. We're very much looking forward to seeing the show.

The little man is back in the school chess club and loving it. He played against his daddy yesterday and 4 moves was all it took to win. Well, the daddy 'wasn't quite ready' apparently but that's no excuse. The little man beat me twice but you don't hear me complain. He's just better at chess than his mummy.

The weather here is cold, frosty and sunny today. A lovely Sunday - perfect for the daddy and little man to play footy outside.

Oooh and the Fairy delivered our Christmas tree in the night. Very magical! We've decorated the tree now and it's very pretty. Pictures can be found here on my Instagram.

Real Magic....

No no it's real, I tell you. The daddy, the little man and the princess are real magicians. You can see it all here with your own eyes. It's seriously good magic, isn't it?
Have you ever seen anything like it? No, neither have I... I'm so proud of my husband and our children for their amazing talent!

The Wedding!

We just got back to Denmark this afternoon after 6 days in England and the most amazing wedding where there was a magician, so now the little man constantly does his magic tricks! They're good as long as you remember to close your eyes when told to.... I'm too tired to write anything more so will just show a few photos instead! Enjoy....

Amazing day.....

Oh, so many presents and a dancing Santa!!!

He was not real though but still shook his belly! He lives (only in December though) in Nana and Papa's pub where we were having Christmas lunch. The princess and little man mesmerised for a moment there.... Oh, you're wondering why the little man's wearing a cape on top of his nice clothes? Well, he got a Darth Vader mask and cape, did manage to convince him to not wear the mask though!
We enjoyed our fantastic Christmas lunch, played games and got even more presents! You wouldn't think there would be more presents though, not after you've seen the lot in front of the tree!
We woke up to this sight in Nana and Papa's house Christmas morning.... Just magic!!

Hope you all have had a great Christmas?

One more advent calender, snow, Elves, Fairies and a little Christmas train.

Yesterday a big packet came in the post.... It was advent calenders from Nana to add to the two the princess and little man already had been given. Both mormor (grandma) and moster (aunty) had also had the same thought....
Today we woke up to find snow outside....
....and that the Fairy had delivered the Christmas tree. Every year it's so exciting to see when it will be delivered. The Fairy sits on top and she has put the lights on. The rest is for us to decorate!

That was not all.... The Elves had also been sometime in the night because the little man and princess' stockings had things in them. Magazines and treats which lead to more screams of joy.
The Christmas market was today too, so we popped down for a while but it was very cold. The princess and little man did get a ride on the little train before we called it a day.
Back home again hot chocolate and tea got us warmed up again.

What have you been up to on this 2nd day of December??

And we're back....

Wow wow wow... It was 3 absolutely AMAZING days!!!!! We had the best time ever... Disneyland is FANTASTIC!!!! We tried all the amazing rides! We met Belle and the last day - Rapunzel. We saw a car stunt show! We had breakfast with Mickey Mouse and his friends. We had lovely dinners and just an amazing time.... It was like a Fairytale!

DAY 1.
Tea cups spinning around, family photo, a princess and lots of fun. The little man and the princess needed a little break every now and then so mummy's wheelchair came in handy in more than one way! By the way, Disneyland is fantastic for us disabled, we get fantastic treatment so we can go on the rides together as a family. We were all amazed and overwhelmed and after a busy first day we rested in the lovely hotel. The princess and little man got to play with their new toys they bought with their holiday money.

DAY 2.
We spent the whole 2nd day in the Disney Studios. It was as amazing and exciting! We made our own cartoon, saw a stunt show and had a very exciting dinner with an entertaining chef...

DAY 3 and our last day....
We drove cars, met Rapunzel and the last thing that we did before our 3 days in Disneyland Paris were over, was watching the parade! AMAZING.....

The rest of our mini Europe trip and honeymoon you'll hear more about later.

And we're off!!!

On Friday at 8am we're starting the car then slowly backing out of our driveway and off we are towards our first stop, Cologne in Germany. After a night there we''ll head off towards Torcy in France to stay one night in a hotel only 10 minutes from Disneyland....

Yes, you guessed right, Disneyland is where we going!! Woo hoo.... Sunday morning we'll get up and drive the 10 minutes to get there and 3 days of magic can begin. We're so so excited and I'm not sure who's more excited the children or us! Not to worry if my blog is a bit quiet for a little while, I will make sure to write as soon as possible about our adventures with lots of pictures.

We're going on a mini Euro trip on our way back home from Disneyland to Denmark. Brussels, Scheveningen, Hannover being our main stops... might sound a bit random and actually it kind of is! It doesn't make it less exciting though and I'll let you know all about it. Now I will be continuing packing the car and getting the dvd players ready for the princess and little man to watch on our road trip.

Where are you off to on holiday this year? Are you jumping with excitement like these two....??

(I am a tiny bit worried about how my MS will behave, but I am not willing to let it decide how my honeymoon and holiday turn out though!)

Magic.

The little man and the princess love magic. Their daddy loves showing them magic and so far they are convinced he is magic. Well, nearly because the smile on the princess' face tells me otherwise but good as she is, she's not telling her little brother (or her daddy). This morning while they were having breakfast, the princess was letting the little man believe he was magic. The screams of joy were a delight to listen to at 7am and the pride on the princess' face when she gave me a knowing smile and a wink, was priceless. Then my heart sunk a bit because how do I break the news to their daddy, that his princess knows the truth.... He'll defo deny it and find excuses. Maybe it'll just stay between me and her. The little man still firmly believe his daddy is magic so he'll has to settle with that. I dread when the princess and the little man stop believing in the Tooth fairy and Santa. It will break their daddy's heart. Maybe I'll get them to pretend for his sake!
