I so love this song. Can't get it out of my head:) It's just a lovely song!

I love the lyrics in the song and think: Do I care what the people might say or whisper about me...???  No not always but sometimes. But are people whispering and talking about me... ?? See that's the question... Don't we all think that sometimes but completely without reason?

And does it really matter...???

Mums confessions......

As my children were so good confessing their shenanigans not long ago, I guess I should too..... So here goes:

I "freestyle" when reading to them, make the story up as I'm going along, missing huge swathes out and showing them things in the pictures so they won't notice I'm avoiding reading half of the words.

I found these confessions on Mumsnet from other mums out there.....


 -I tell mine that the chocolate/biscuits I'm munching has nuts in so they can't have any...

-I don't always call them in to lick the beaters when I am making a cake.

-If either of my children have bumped/scraped/cut off various body parts I ask them
"Can you move it? Can you bend it?... Well it hasn't dropped off so you are ok!"


So guess this confession thing is a two way street..... Or three! Maybe we should hear from the dads too!!!!!

My 3 year old son had a BIG tantrum last week. Screaming because he did not think it was necessary to wash both hands when finished on the toilet. His argument was he only used the one hand to wipe with.... I did win the battle though but what is it with boys and lack of hand washing.......????

An Autumn day where the sun is shinning from a clear blue sky but it's so cold you have to wear a hat and gloves!

When my children come inside with bright red cheeks after playing in the garden!

When my 3 year old son sings Incy Wincy Bider to me! ( he can't say sp )

When my 5 year old daughter gets a laughing fit rolling around on the floor!


When my soulmate plays Take That to me on his guitar!

Confessions of a 3 year old and a 5 year old.....

My sister (5) and I (3) are seeking forgiveness for.......

Ignoring mummy completely at dinner time when we were told to stop messing about.
Running faster when we were told to stop running at all in the house!!!
Me screaming all the way through my bath as I wanted daddy not mummy to bath me......
Throwing Lego at my sister and then denying it!!!
My sister for cutting a bit of her friend's hair playing hairdresser.... And for putting Vicks all over her body then denying it though her eyes were red and teary from the smell which is hard to hide........

We also say sorry now for all future tantrums, selective hearing as in not hearing at all what mummy says and just general shenanigans we might have to get up too!!!
